The 6th annual Spirit of Women National Awards were presented at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida on May 21, 2004.

The Award Winners were selected based on the contribution they have made to the issues women face in the areas of work, family ad health and the impact they have had in their community and in the lives of others they touch. Their lives motivate and inspire others to make similar changes. Click here to view the regional winners.

The Friday evening Gala sparkled in the Orange Blossom Ballroom as attendees were treated to highlights from each of the regional winners' outstanding achievements. The 2004 gala theme "Making Dreams Come True" captured the spirit and the level of accomplishments of these unique Spirit of Women National Award Winners from all across the country.  The evening culminated with a vocal tribute by Melissa LaBate from Lovelace Sandia Health System in Albuquerque, NM.

This year, the program proudly honors three women who have accomplished the extraordinary. A committee comprised of corporate leaders, hospital representatives, and past award recipients selected the three National Winners.
